Mounds Candy Recipe

Not the actual mounds, but similar

I've been on the search for a while for a recipe
that wasn't overly sweet, seems most of the recipes out there make
a very sweet and hard confections mixture.

So finally I found a recipe
that uses very little confectioners sugar and the outcome
was pretty good. The coconut mixture is gooey like a real mounds not sweet. The agave in the recipe turns the mixture brown, but don't let this scare you.

What they didn't tell you well I tried placing mine on racks, like they show, to allow the chocolate coating to set and it ends up sticking to the rack and you have to pry them off , so I just sat mine down on wax paper to set up.

I had to do some in white chocolate also, as I cannot have milk or dark chocolate.

Only downside to this recipe is it doesn't make very many, which is probably a good thing, or I'd have more to eat LOL I think I got 14 small bars out of it so I will double the recipe next time I make it.

Here's my pin to the recipe MOUNDS Candy
