Just dropping by for a quick hello, and to post a recipe.
As always at the bottom of this page (little green button) you can click print if you'd like to print the recipe and it will print without all the other garb on the blog.
I made these a couple weekends ago, not really a recipe
for them, I just wing it, but here's how I made mine...
Banana Flips
bananas
pancake mix (I used bisquick)
milk
spray butter
cinnamon and sugar
First, slice up your bananas, NOT on the diagonal, they have to be flat and not too thick, if not the pancake mix will not cook on the sides of the bananas.
In a small bowl pour some pancake mix, add little milk, at a time, til you have a Pancake type consistency batter. Dip your banana slices into the batter and place into a greased skillet or griddle. Allow to cook til mixture bubbles like pancakes and then flip and do the other side. Remove from heat and place onto serving dish, spray with butter and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over top to your liking.
I fixed those along with the egg in a basket, toad in the hole whatever you call it eggs LOL which is not something I want to try again, just seemed like I couldn't get the eggs done, and by the time I flipped them, the toast was burned, so not so pretty picture but here it is
