Hello everyone, the cute Santa Hat Tucks (pictured above) I won in a giveaway sponsored by Ahl Cooped Up . They are so adorable! Thanks again to Ahl Cooped Up for sponsoring the giveaway, she has some awesome crafts on her site please check them out.
I've been busy between dr visits and trying to get some things around the house done, along with Christmas crafting in between. Not enough hours in the day.
First off is a sneak peek into my bath redo, well bath Retweak
as you may remember, a year ago when I first moved into this home, everything was Brass, which I'm slowly getting rid of, my first redo is HERE, for those that don't remember. Didn't change much, other than taking down the floral wallpaper border and spray painting the ugly light fixture.
Well it was still bleh to me, so it took a while for me to get a feel for what I wanted to do in there. I finally picked paint colors and that's what I have been busy doing. So here are some sneak peeks of the light fixtures and flooring.
Here's the before
My first redo
and my TWEAK
i've also changed molding around the mirror, but wont show you that pic until the reveal.
Next sneak peek is the before and after flooring. It only cost 30 bucks to redo the flooring, we used the peel n stick wood look stuff. It's not totally finished, gotta get around the toilet and the odd areas, but it looks so much better already
so that's all that I have to share with the sneak peaks, more next time. The next thing I wanted to share with you are the Waffle Biscuits we've been seeing in blogland and on Pinterest. As you know I like to review everything I try out from blog land and Pinterest, out of 5 stars I give the Waffle Biscuits a 5.
What they dont tell you.....well most waffle makers I saw, on the blogs that posted about these, looked the same size as mine, but evidently mine is smaller. I put 4 biscuits on my waffle maker because it showed 4 sections, like I saw in the directions, but it didnt work they were gooey inside they are just too big they expand outside the cooking area.
so I placed two on my griddle and they turned out fine
everyone's directions vary as of time used to leave them on there, for me 2 minutes 30 seconds worked great.
and they do not taste like biscuits!
So now I have a use for that waffle griddle I bought last year during black friday for 5 bucks, I had only used it once before when I attempted making homemade batter WHAT A MESS, why do all that when I can just slap some biscuits on. So this is a keeper idea and I look forward to also trying the Cinnamon Biscuits the same way.
That's it for now, we are heading to Hawaii for the holiday, but I"ll be back soon with the bathroom reveal and some crafts.
